As Rosewood Hotels & Resorts’ first property in China, Rosewood Beijing set out to create a new kind of contemporary luxury rooted in a strong sense of place. Our role was to curate, source and style all accessories and objects throughout the hotel, helping to bring this vision to life.
The approach to curation was deliberately eclectic and deeply personal. We brought together antiques, found objects and artisanal pieces, often sourced from flea markets, street vendors and local antique dealers. Many of these were arranged into small, storytelling vignettes—subtle moments inspired by Beijing’s cultural heritage and everyday life.
Across guest rooms and public spaces, these layers help create an environment that feels both refined and lived-in—striking, yet warm and familiar.
In addition to the interior styling, we contributed to the development of the hotel’s OS&E collection, advised on floral concepts, and worked closely with the F&B team to style the bars and restaurants, including Country Kitchen, Red Bowl and The House of Dynasties.
