Rosewood Hotel Schloss Fuschl, Salzburg

Set in the Austrian Alps, Rosewood Schloss Fuschl is a restored 15th-century castle where traditional elegance, timeless luxury and extraordinary natural beauty come together in an authentic alpine retreat.

Our work encompassed the curation of art, decorative accessories and book collections for all 98 guestrooms, including 42 suites and six private chalets, as well as the public areas, five restaurants and bars, and the Asaya Spa. We also collaborated with the hotel team on selected operating equipment for the guestrooms & suites and developed the property's floral design language—a botanical identity that complements the resort throughout the seasons.

We commissioned local artists to create bespoke illustrations and hand-painted prints, each one unique. The six private chalets were individually reimagined through carefully selected wallpapers, textiles and character furniture, giving them a warmer, more inviting and unmistakably Alpine character.

Originally built in 1461 as a hunting lodge for the Prince-Archbishops of Salzburg, Schloss Fuschl provided a rich source of inspiration for our curatorial approach. Drawing on the history of the castle and the surrounding region, the beauty of Lake Fuschl and the dramatic landscapes of the Salzkammergut, we composed collections of antiques, rare finds and contemporary pieces that feel collected, authentic and deeply connected to the spirit of the place.
