Housed within the former United States Embassy in the heart of Mayfair, The Chancery Rosewood occupies one of London's most significant modernist landmarks. Designed by Eero Saarinen and reimagined by Joseph Dirand, the hotel brings together architectural heritage, contemporary craftsmanship and the enduring dialogue between British and American culture.

Our work encompassed the accessorising and styling of the entire hotel, including all 144 suites and signature Houses, the public areas, meeting and event spaces, the Eagle Bar and the Asaya Spa. Inspired by Saarinen's architectural language and the optimism of mid-century modernism, our curatorial approach drew on architecture, art, design and cultural history, celebrating the building's original role as a place of diplomacy and Anglo-American exchange.

Each of the hotel's 144 suites and signature Houses was individually curated, with the Houses conceived as distinctive collections reflecting their own identity through bespoke commissions, exceptional craftsmanship and thoughtfully sourced objects. In collaboration with the historic Mayfair bookseller Heywood Hill, we developed deeply layered book collections featuring first editions, vintage volumes and contemporary works that enrich the narrative of the hotel and its Houses. Every object throughout the hotel was commissioned, custom made or sourced in collaboration with British and American artists, artisans and makers. Nothing was selected off the shelf.
