Carlyle & Co Private - Members Club, Hong Kong

Situated within Victoria Dockside and occupying the upper levels of Rosewood Hong Kong, Carlyle & Co. is a 25,000-square-foot private members' club inspired by the enduring character of New York's legendary Carlyle Hotel. Named in its honour, the club draws on the timeless elegance of Café Carlyle and Bemelmans Bar while establishing an identity entirely its own.

Our work encompassed the curation of accessories, objets d'art and books throughout the club, combining bespoke commissions, antiques, rare finds, vintage volumes and contemporary pieces to create interiors that feel layered, collected and true to the character of Carlyle & Co. Rather than following a decorative formula, each object was selected for its ability to contribute to the club's distinctive atmosphere of curiosity, culture and conversation.

For the club's eight residential suites, each named in honour of a figure closely associated with the Carlyle's history, we developed an individual curatorial narrative that pays tribute to its namesake. Alongside the art, accessories and book collections, we curated selected operating equipment—including bespoke bed linen, cushions, bathroom accessories and barware—with every element carefully sourced or custom made. Each suite was conceived as a portrait of its namesake, where carefully curated objects, bespoke details and unexpected juxtapositions bring together quiet luxury, wit and quiet intrigue.
